Color of the tshirt is the primary factor which decides the difficulty of styling. A black colored oversized tshirt is the EASIEST to style, you can pair it with almost any color and look fresh.
So yeah, the color of the tshirt is the main deciding factor if it will suit you or not.
Pro tip- Try pairing the color of your tshirt with the color of your sneakers
FACTOR 2- Sizing.
Sizing of the t-shirt which includes the How long the t-shirt is, measurements of the neckline, how long the sleeves are for you etc. are some questions that you should keep in mind before buying a t-shirt or any apparel for that matter.
A bad looking t-shirt with a proper sizing will easily beat a good looking t-shirt which is of a wrong size.
So be sure to go through the size charts before buying the piece.
BUT if you have already bought a t-shirt which does not fit you very well...Please donate it or pass it on to someone who would look good in it!!!
Pro tip - The bottom part ( hem ) of your t-shirt should cover your waistband and extend a few inches past that.
FACTOR 3
COLOUR OF THE PRINTS.
If you are trying to style and oversized tshirt which has a lot of Graphical elements on it, then make sure that the color of the prints match or compliment the color of the tshirt. For ex- Imagine a red colored tshirt which has a green colored text at the back...Disgusting right ? Please do not be that weird dude of your college who just cannot get it right.

Accessorizing is more important than you think it is!
Invest in a few good pair of chains, different lengths, colors, finishes. You can play around with it until you get the right one which looks the best on you, after which it can be a staple for your wardrobe.
Not everyone can pull these off but if you can then i would suggest you to start wearing rings!!! Even though a simple band ring is easy to style, it is very flavour-less, ykwim.
