With Parliament scheduled to discuss the Liberhan Commission report from Monday, Congress and BJP are expected to try to put each other in the dock over the issue of demolition of Babri Masjid.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh and the deputy leader in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj will present the party's view on the Liberhan Commission report and the Action Taken Report (ATR) as the house debates it on Monday and Tuesday.

A notice for Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Gurudas Dasgupta and Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) leader Basudeb Acharia have given discussion on the commission report and the ATR, said parliament officials in New Delhi on Sunday.

The discussion, to be held under Rule 193, does not entail voting.

Several leaders of the BJP, including former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Leader of Opposition L.K. Advani, have been indicted by the Liberhan Commission report that probed the December 6, 1992, Babri Masjid demolition.

"Rajnathji and Sushmaji will present our party's views in the Lok Sabha," said BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain.

Earlier, the discussion, slated for December 1 was postponed after the Samajwadi Party insisted that copies of report should be made available in Hindi also.

The Rajya Sabha is scheduled to take up discussion on the report on December 9.
